4th Grade Team
Hi there! I’m Mrs. Levandusky! I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. GO CUBS!!! I moved to Las Vegas in 2000 to attend UNLV. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2005. I have been teaching fourth grade ever since! In 2008, I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I worked at Bonner Elementary with Mr. Catania for five years before opening Vassiliadis.
I have been married for thirteen years to my husband, Brett. In the fall of 2022, my son Landon will be in fourth grade and my daughter Mya will be in first grade. I also have an American Eskimo named, Sadie, who rules the house! I enjoy swimming, camping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
Teaching is my passion! Working with children fulfills my life. In my classroom, I provide students with a nurturing environment, which also includes consistency, structure, respect, and a challenging experience where they get to achieve their individual goals.
I am ecstatic to be kicking off my eighteenth year of teaching at this amazing school! It is an honor and privilege to be a part of this incredible staff and community. I am looking forward to a fantastic, successful school year ahead! GO CUBS GO!!!
Hello, my name is Kimberly Yeazel and I am thrilled to be a Cub!! I can’t wait to continue this adventure teaching fourth grade at Vassiliadis Elementary School. I am a native Nevadan and a product of the CCSD school system. I am very proud of that fact! I received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in both elementary and special education. I have been teaching for 21 years, 15 of which were spent in the Clark County School District. I have experience teaching 7th grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade, but 4th has always been my favorite! I love their enthusiasm for learning!! Prior to coming to Vassiliadis I taught 4th grade at Staton Elementary School for 10 years, and I have enjoyed being a part of this amazing Summerlin community!
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, John and I have two beautiful daughters . Jordyn is at Boise State University and Abby is at Palo Verde High School. Abby plays soccer for LVSA, so we are busy at soccer fields most of the time. In addition, I enjoy shopping, concert going, cheering on the Golden Knights, and working out at the gym!
I feel honored to be part of this amazing team of teachers and administrators at Vassiliadis who share the same vision and passion as me! I look forward to a wonderful school year!
Hello Cub families! My name is Christa Hsu and I’ve been a teacher since 2014. I was born and raised in Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University. Upon graduating, I moved to Las Vegas and started my first career in health education for local high schools, as well as working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. In 2015, I graduated from UNLV with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have spent most of my teacher career in 3rd grade, but I have also spent time in 4th and 5th grade. The intermediate grades are so much fun to teach!
I have been married to my darling husband, Arthur, since 2005. We have two incredible children, Kennedy & Aidan, and two big dogs named Ginger & Linda. We enjoy staying busy with school and after school activities, but more than anything we love spending time together playing games and watching movies. I enjoy cheering on my favorite sports teams, going to the gym, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends both near and far.
I absolutely love being a teacher! I believe in providing a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment where each student feels supported in challenging themselves and reaching their goals. I am thrilled to be at the best school with the most amazing staff and community at Vassiliadis. I look forward to a fun and memorable year!
Hello Cub families! My name is Lexi Fleury and I am excited to begin another year as part of the Vassiliadis family! I was born and raised here in Las Vegas, but decided to join the Pack at the University of Nevada, Reno where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Elementary Education with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating, I decided I was tired of the snow and moved back to the Las Vegas heat. I’ve spent the first four years of my teaching career in fabulous first grade, two of those years here as a Vassiliadis Cub. While I have loved my time in first grade, I am thrilled to start a new path in my career and join the 4th grade family this year!
In my free time, I love going to yoga, attending country concerts, cooking, and playing pickleball. My students will tell you that I am obsessed with coffee and anything to do with pugs. In my classroom, I strive to build a warm, positive environment for my students to feel safe and welcomed in. I believe one of the most important things about being a teacher is making sure each student feels special and celebrated for all the ways that make them unique. As Kid President says, my hope is for my students to “be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” As a class, we will always encourage, motivate, and support one another as we work to reach our goals. Not only will we grow as learners, we will have fun and make memories together along the way! I’m looking forward to a fantastic year and cannot wait to get to know you all!
Hi families and students! I'm Mr. Cesarone and I am excited to teach 4th grade this year at Vassiliadis. First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. This will be my 10th year teaching in the Clark County School District and my 6th year in 4th grade. Previously, I had taught at Ober Elementary for 9 years. I was born and raised in Michigan, where I received my Bachelors Degree from Oakland University in 2013. My wife Elena and I have a 2 year old daughter, Victoria and newborn son Luca. We also have a cocker spaniel named Roxy who keeps us on our toes. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, golfing and spending time with my family. I am an avid sports fan (GO KNIGHTS!) and love bringing that friendly competition into the classroom.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy seeing my students grow academically, as well as socially. In my classroom, you may or may not find me standing on chairs/tables to grab my classroom's attention. I encourage my students to have their voices be heard and to be supportive of one another. I am committed to helping each one of my students love, respect and appreciate the concepts being taught. I always will try to apply real world situations and applications to whatever content there is. I believe that this is all crucial for student success. With commitment, dedication and some fun, this upcoming school year will be a successful one!

My name is Cierra Ritter! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and went to UNLV to receive my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Go Rebels! I guess you can say I’m a fan of the desert which is why I have never left. I realized I wanted to become a teacher after working for a child development program with a soccer emphasis in high school. I am coming from an arts integrated school, Doral Academy, where I taught 4th grade for three years. Working with children brings so much joy to my heart and seeing their victories in the classroom is indescribable. In my classroom, my main goal is to make learning fun! I believe that in order to accomplish this I need to provide my students with a safe learning environment. I do this by prioritizing social emotional learning, aiming to infuse the principles of emotional intelligence into our classroom
curriculum. Aristotle says it best, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
Quick facts about me include my obsession with Disney. My favorite movie is Tangled, but a close second is Brave. I love in-n-out, but I would pick all you can eat sushi as my favorite meal. I enjoy being outdoors hiking, rock climbing, and playing soccer. When I’m not at school, you can catch me out on the pit in my free time! In fact, I’ve coached youth soccer periodically for the last seven years because it combines my two passions teaching and playing soccer! With that being said, I am pumped to be joining the amazing staff and community at Vassiliadis! Go Cubs!
