Kim Yeazel
Hello! My name is Kimberly Yeazel, and I am thrilled to be a Cub! I am excited to continue this journey teaching fourth grade at Vassiliadis Elementary School.
I am a proud native Nevadan and a product of the CCSD school system. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in both elementary and special education. I began my teaching career in Reno, Nevada, later taught in Tucson, Arizona, and have now been teaching in the Clark County School District for 18 years. Throughout my career, I have taught 7th, 3rd, and 4th grades—but 4th grade has always been my favorite! I love my students’ enthusiasm for learning and their growing independence.
Before joining Vassiliadis, I taught 4th grade at Staton Elementary School for 11 years. I have truly enjoyed being part of the wonderful Summerlin community and am grateful to now be part of the Vassiliadis family.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family. I have two amazing daughters who are my pride and joy. My oldest, Jordyn, graduated from Boise State University and is now a marketing director for Paul Mitchell. My younger daughter, Abby, is studying business and finance at San Diego State University.
In my free time, I enjoy shopping, attending concerts, cheering on the Golden Knights, and staying active at the gym.
I feel honored to be part of such a dedicated team of teachers and administrators at Vassiliadis who share a passion for education and student success. I look forward to a fantastic school year!

Crecia Page
Hi Cubs! I'm Mrs. Page, and I’m thrilled to be back at Vassiliadis teaching fourth grade! After three wonderful years teaching in Washington, it feels so good to return to the best school around, filled with amazing staff, awesome students, and a truly supportive community.
Before moving, I spent two fantastic years teaching 3rd grade right here at Vassiliadis, and I’m excited to now continue my journey in 4th grade. With experience teaching 1st through 5th grade, I bring a strong understanding of where students are in their learning journey and how to best support their growth. In our classroom, we will value student voice, meaningful work, mutual respect, and high expectations.
I’m also a proud mom of three kids, including a new 1st grader who will be attending Vassiliadis with me this year. My husband is a Battalion Chief with the Clark County Fire Department, and as a family, we stay busy. You can usually find us cheering by a wrestling mat or spending time in the arena with our daughter’s horse, Thomas.
Before becoming a teacher, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies and spent many years working as a photographer, shooting weddings, portraits, and working with agencies in Portland, Oregon. In 2021, I earned my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at UNLV and continue growing professionally.
Outside of school, life is full of adventure, whether it is caring for our little farm with pigs, goats, and chickens, chasing after our kids, or exploring the great outdoors. I am so happy to be back at Vassiliadis and truly look forward to a fantastic year of fun, growth, and learning together!

Lindsay Ortiz

Hello, Cub families! I am Lindsay Ortiz and am so excited to start this school year in 4th grade again! I was born and raised here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UNLV in 2010 and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading Instruction in 2015 from GCU. I taught fourth and fifth grade until 2016, when I left the classroom for a little bit to stay home with my children before they started school here themselves. In 2022, I joined the Cubs family as the Computer Science teacher before coming back to fourth grade in 2023!
I have been married for almost sixteen years to my husband, Roger. In the fall of 2026, my son, Hunter, will be in sixth grade and my daughter, Dylan, will be in fourth grade here. When I am not at a cheer event for my daughter or a golf tournament for my son, I enjoy shopping, playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends!
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has unique strengths, challenges, and potential. It is my responsibility to create a safe, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning. I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade again and even more excited to be doing it at this amazing school with your amazing students!

Scott Cesarone

Hi families and students! I’m Mr. Cesarone, and I am excited to teach 4th grade at Vassiliadis this year! First, let me tell you a little about myself. This will be my 13th year teaching in the Clark County School District and my 9th year teaching 4th grade. I was born and raised in Michigan, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Oakland University in 2013. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
My wife Elena and I have three wonderful children—Victoria (6), Luca (4), and Emma (2). When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, golfing, and spending time with my family. I’m also an avid sports fan of all Detroit sports and the Golden Knight. I love bringing that friendly competition and team spirit into the classroom as well.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I love watching my students grow academically as well as socially throughout the year. In my classroom, you may or may not find me standing on chairs or tables to grab everyone’s attention! I encourage my students to have their voices heard and to support one another. I am committed to helping each of my students love, respect, and appreciate the concepts we learn. I always try to connect lessons to real-world situations and applications, because I believe that makes learning more meaningful and helps students succeed.
With commitment, dedication, and a little bit of fun, I know this will be a fantastic school year!

Cierra Ritter

Hello Cubs! I'm Ms. Ritter! I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from UNLV—Go Rebels! I’ve had the joy of teaching 4th grade for six incredible years and have been working with children for over a decade. My journey into education began in high school while working for a child development program with a soccer twist, and I've never looked back!
A few fun facts about me: I'm a huge sports fan! I love watching all sorts of games, from soccer and football to basketball and tennis—the list goes on! When I'm not cheering on my favorite teams, you’ll find me enjoying the great outdoors, whether it’s playing soccer, challenging friends to pickleball, hiking scenic trails, or hitting the slopes for some snowboarding fun.
Teaching fills my heart with happiness, and nothing compares to witnessing my students thrive in the classroom. My mission is to make learning both fun and challenging. I also believe in the power of a safe, supportive space, which is why I prioritize social emotional learning. I strive to weave emotional intelligence into our curriculum because, as Aristotle wisely said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” With that being said, I am super excited for another amazing year with the best 4th grade team and community at Vassiliadis! Let’s make this year unforgettable! Go Cubs!
