Hi there! I’m Mrs. Levandusky! I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. GO CUBS!!! I moved to Las Vegas twenty years ago to attend UNLV. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2005. I have been teaching fourth grade ever since! In 2008, I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I worked at Bonner Elementary with Mr. Catania for five years before opening Vassiliadis.

I have been married for eleven years to my husband, Brett. My son Landon is seven and my daughter Mya is four. I also have an American Eskimo named, Sadie, who rules the house! I enjoy swimming, camping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Teaching is my passion! Working with children fulfills my life. In my classroom, I provide students with a nurturing environment, which also includes consistency, structure, respect, and a challenging experience where they get to achieve their individual goals.

I am ecstatic to be kicking off my sixteenth year of teaching at this amazing school! It is an honor and privilege to be a part of this incredible staff and community. I am looking forward to a fantastic, successful school year ahead! GO CUBS GO!!!

Kim Yeazel

Hello, my name is Kimberly Yeazel and I am thrilled to be a Cub!! I can’t wait to continue this adventure teaching fourth grade at Vassiliadis Elementary School. I am a native Nevadan and a product of the CCSD school system. I am very proud of that fact! I received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in both elementary and special education. I have been teaching for twenty years, fourteen of which were spent  in the Clark County School District. I have experience teaching 7th grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade, but 4th has always been my favorite! I love their enthusiasm for learning!! Prior to coming to Vassiliadis I taught 4th grade at Staton Elementary School for 10 years, and I have enjoyed being a part of this amazing Summerlin community!

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, John and I have two beautiful daughters who are both in high school at Palo Verde. Jordyn is a senior and Abby is a freshman.  Abby plays soccer for LVSA, so we are busy at soccer fields most of the time. In addition, I enjoy shopping, concert going, cheering on the Golden Knights, and working out at the gym!

I feel honored to be part of this amazing team of teachers and administrators at Vassiliadis who share the same vision and passion as me! I look forward to a wonderful school year!

Lindsey Cofer

Hi all! My name is Lindsey Cofer and I am extremely happy to be a part of the Vassiliadis family! I was born and raised in Oklahoma and have spent my whole life there until August of 2017. I am a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University where I obtained my degree in Elementary Education and met my Husband, Tyler.  I have been married for almost 9 years and have two very energetic little boys, Jax (6) and Briggs (4). Our family packed up our belongings and moved to Las Vegas just recently after my husband took a position with the Vegas Golden Knights (Go Knights Go!).  As a family we enjoy attending various sporting events, hiking, concert going, and staying active. I personally love cooking, getting lost in a book and finding the perfect cup of coffee.
I originally attended college to becoming an event coordinator. Shortly after starting a part time job as a preschool teacher during my freshman year, I realized I had to change my path and followed my heart into the education field. I have spent the past 10 years living my passion by teaching elementary aged students. I taught second grade for two of those years, fifth grade for one year and the rest in fourth grade. I couldn’t imagine a career doing anything but teaching. My number one goal is for each student to leave school everyday saying “that was SUCH an awesome day!”. We will have a ton of fun making learning come to life but we will also work as hard as possible. I love to sing, dance, and add movement into every lesson. I don’t want to be bored so my students wont be either! Hands on activities, transformation classrooms and game integration is how I like to roll through the school year. Learning should (and will) be fun!

Aloha!  I am thrilled to be a member of the Vassiliadis family.  I hail from Hilo on the beautiful Island of Hawai`i.  After finishing high school, I embarked on a journey toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  While attending college, I worked at United Airlines and discovered my passion for the jet-set lifestyle.  My next career was with Caesars Entertainment.  I worked in various service and supervisory positions for 12 years.  In 2009, I began my transition toward a career in education.  I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in Education.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade at Lynch Elementary, 4th grade at Bonner Elementary, and 4th grade at Vassiliadis Elementary School.

In my leisure time, I delight in visiting friends and family.  I also love to fill my passport with stamps by jaunting off to new international destinations to indulge in the local cuisine and immerse myself in the diverse cultures of the world.  I also revel in entertaining and exhibiting my culinary expertise for family and friends.  During the winter season, I relish in carving up the mountainside on my snowboard while jamming to music.  I also enjoy taking to the trails in my 4x4 to find the perfect camping spot.

Working hard to pursue your happiness is my philosophy and a part of the unwritten curriculum I teach my students every day.  I believe that success is 3% inspiration and 97% perspiration.  My job as an educator is to inspire and encourage my students and give them the roadmap toward success.  It is up to each individual to use it to follow and achieve his or her dreams.  Teaching is my passion and I am honored to be a part of the Vassiliadis family.  I look forward to a wonderful and memorable school year.

Chad Lutke

Hello, my name is Chad Lutke and I am excited to be a Cub!! Vassiliadis has been like a home to me already, but teaching fourth grade at Vassiliadis Elementary School is an adventure in the making. I am originally from the shores of Holland, Michigan. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Hope College in reading with a focus in elementary education, and a Masters of Education from Southern Utah University.  I have been teaching for thirteen years in CCSD, with an additional five years that were taught in Michigan. I have experience teaching 6th and 7th grade reading and writing, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. After teaching for five years at Sig Rogich Middle School, I most recently taught a year of 3rd grade at Garehime Elementary School before becoming a Cub.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My wife, Kristina, and I have two amazing children. Both Gavin and Siena attend Vassiliadis, where my wife also works, so this is truly a family school for me. If there is such a thing as down time, I enjoy camping, fishing, working around the house, and woodworking in the garage. I started coaching the first boys and girls soccer teams at Sig Rogich, but gave that up to coach my son’s recreation soccer team. Both my kids are very active in sports and activities, but my wife and I find time to get to as many Golden Knights games as possible.  It is great to be joining a family of teachers and administrators that not only push the students to be their very best, but are also pushing themselves to evolve to become the best teachers and mentors. The journey begins soon!

Being a battle-tested Wolverine fan, it is with hesitation that I share that my favorite quote is from Lou Holtz.

- “If what you did yesterday seems big, you haven’t done anything today.”
